Carnival
The Kids Carnival is next week. I am still
looking for about 10 volunteers to help wiith runnning the
games. I am also requesting donations for the kids auction and
larger prizes for the game winners. The larger prizes can be
10 of the same item for the dollar story. Cash donations
welcome, we can do the shopping. Does anyone have a quick up
tent we can use for the day, I need three of them. Maryann

A special thanks to Bob Mills Sr,
Rex King, Maryann, and all of the volunteers and donators that
helped make the golf outing on Saturday morning a great time. We had
5 groups of golfers and look forward to expanding on this next year.
Kent
Leisure Lake has lost one of its
own as Sharon Phillips passed away today. Details for her services
will be posted when available. The LLMA Board of Directors is very
saddened to hear this news and the Phillips Family is on our
thoughts and prayers.
Funeral Services for Sharon will be at Lane Funeral Homes 164 North
High Street, Cortland, Ohio 44410. Phone: 330-637-4986
On July 19, 2010 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Thank you to all of the members who
made the board meeting. It was the largest and best board meeting
since I have been on the board. Having members share their concerns,
opinions and advise helps move the park forward. We strive to answer
all questions immediately, however the uniqueness of this park
requires research before we can answer them all. Our goal is to have
these answers by the next board meeting. Kent

The very unique
portion of this park is that it is run by a board of directors who
donate their time and expertise. The term of commitment is 2
years. Is it time for you to give back to the park? On July 11th,
the following positions are up for renewal:
President, Secretary, and 3 trustee positions.

All of our campsites are
almost taken. If you are thinking about joining our community
act quickly, there's only a few sites left.
Please remember that our
quarterly membership meetings are always held the second
Sunday of
the month at 10:00 AM. The last meeting was July 11,
2010. The next
meeting will be on October 10 , 2010. Your
presence at the meetings is requested to vote
on issues that affect
the park.
