to inform Leisure Lake that Jeff Stevenson has passed away today,
December 10th. In the short few years that I have come to know Jeff,
a finer man would be hard to find. His compassion and love for the
park will be missed. His friendship to me and many others impossible
to replace.

Dear Leisure Lake Friends,
We wish to thank everyone for all their prayers. Jeff loved
Leisure Lake and all the people. All of you have been so kind. You
gave more than love and kindness.
For everyone who gave money. I can’t thank you enough. It will
be used towards Jeff’s medical bills.
We are all going to miss him. I’m proud of all he accomplished
for the park--so much in such a short time.
Thank you all for being there for me and for Jeff’s and my
family. You’re all a blessing to us.
Although it will be hard for me. As there is nothing he liked
more than camping at Leisure Lake and all of you. I look forward to
seeing all of you in the spring.

Biolota
A long time member of the park past away Saturday the
4th. Patricia Biolota from lot#194. she was a very nice a caring
women and a friend. she will be deeply missed but not forgotten.

Sanford
I
have been informed and sadly to say that Leisure Lake membership has
lost a long time member Jan 1st Charles (BuD) Sanford, husband of
Lois Sanford passed away. There will not be any services until June
18th in Shalersville, Ohio. The cemetery is on route 303.
June 18th grave side service at Riverside at 1:00pm.
After service a gathering at Silver Oaks in Kent, Ohio.
Lisa Cox
Sadly I have been informed that
Lisa Cox lost her courageous battle and has passed away this morning
(August 31, 2010). Now is the time to continue to show your support for the
family in the way you seem appropriate. Details will follow once
they are available. I have been informed that the Cox family
will be having a celabration of Life for Lisa on Friday evening from
7 - 10 at the VFW located in Avon, more details when available. Kent

We are having a Chinese auction
after the Benefit dinner for Lisa Cox on Sept 4th. If anyone would
like to donate anything - please see Tammy Kratz, Dawn Booth,
Carolyn Lozier, Delores Stevenson or Cheri Almashy-King. All the
proceeds will go to the Ron Cox family. Come on - fellow campers -
let's take care of our own again!! You always come through when you
are needed - Thanks to all of you!!! God Bless!
Laurie Miller and Diane Wolf will
be having a Fundraising Benefit Dinner for Lisa Cox. Please save the
date and show your support by participating with showing up for
dinner. Just in the planning stages, I will up date the event with
menu and specific's after this weekend.
I am so proud to be a member of Leisure Lake....The
members of this park are AMAZING!! What a great benefit for the
Cox family.....over $5000 was raised Saturday. The meal (244 meals
sold) was delicious (thanks Laurie, Dianne and the crew) and the
auctions were unbelieveable! Special thanks to Randy for being the
emcee (he was fantastic, as usual) and for making the beautiful
memorial poster of Lisa. And thanks to everyone that helped with
planning the benefit. And thanks to everyone who donated. We
always seem to come together when it is needed. Thanks everyone!!!

Leisure Lake has lost one of its own
as Sharon Phillips passed away today. Details for her services will
be posted when available. The LLMA Board of Directors is very
saddened to hear this news and the Phillips Family is on our
thoughts and prayers.
Services for Sharon Phillips are from 5:00 to 7:00

Marianne
(Evans) Coulter, age 45, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday,
January 5, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January
8, 2010 at St. Paul's Catholic Church of North Canton, 241 S. Main
St., North Canton, with Msgr. James A. Clarke celebrant. The family
will receive friends in the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel
(801 Pittsburg Ave. NW) TODAY (Thursday), January 7 from 2 to 4 and
6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations
be made to the Mercy Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave. NW, North Canton,
Ohio 44720.
