Golf Carts are Permitted at Leisure Lake Park
At Leisure Lake Park, gasoline operated golf carts are permitted on the grounds. All golf carts are to be operated under the guidelines listed below. For the safety of our members and their guests, please adhere to the 5 MPH speed limit within the campground for your vehicle and golf cart. Thank You! Rules and Regulations for Golf Carts Due to the increasing number of golf carts in the park, concerns have been brought to the attention of the board. As a result, we, the Board of Directors have implemented the following rules regarding the use of golf carts:1. GAS powered golf carts are permitted in the park. Electric golf carts are NOT permitted. 2. All motorized vehicles MUST obey the 5 MPH speed limit, including golf carts. 3. Quiet hour in the Park is 11:00 p.m. Quiet hour for golf carts in Midnight. Unless you are going to the comfort stations or returning to your site. 4. Horse playing after dark with no lights will result in immediate removal from the park. 5. Two golf carts per membership; all others must be removed from the park. 6. Golf carts MUST be driven by a licensed driver. Younger drivers will be asked to show their license. 7. Golf carts MUST be driven on marked roadways ONLY. Anyone driving on the grass will have their privileges revoked 1st offense (30 days), 2nd (60 days), 3rd remove cart from the park. 8. Golf carts must have front lights (2) and reflectors (2) on the rear in order to operate after dark. 9. Golf carts may only carry the number of passengers who can properly be seated. 10. No golf cart may be operated while operator is visibly impaired. Disciplinary action will result, up to and including suspension of your Right to have a golf cart in Leisure Lake Park. 11. Golf cart must be identified with proper ID sticker before it can be operated in the park. This number is located on your membership card to the left of your gate code. NOTE: A separate set of rules are in place for golf carts operated by security when on duty.
